Graduate Landscape Architect/Landscape Architect - Edinburgh

The Opportunity:

In response to a growing portfolio of exciting new projects we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graduate Landscape Architect/ Landscape Architect (up to 2 years’ experience since graduating) to join our creative landscape design team in Edinburgh.

Our ideal candidate will be ambitious, dynamic, engaging and an excellent communicator with experience in assisting with the design and delivery of projects across all work stages.  Key tasks will involve supporting the team in the delivery of projects across a diverse range of sectors including education, masterplanning, healthcare, sport and leisure, residential, public realm, and some fantastic community initiative projects.

As part of a multi-disciplinary firm, there will also be opportunities to collaborate on projects with a range of specialists from within our environment and sustainability teams.

Mentoring is also available for those wishing to study towards their Chartership.

Desired skills and qualities:

  • Passionate about Landscape Architecture
  • An appropriate Landscape Architecture degree level qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of supporting /running Landscape design projects if applying for the Landscape Architect role
  • A creative, problem-solving approach to design
  • Excellent graphic capabilities
  • Ability to use AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite to a high standard
  • A high standard of written English and excellent presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and time management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to take initiative in response to direction or instruction
